Tailored Aquatics Amazon Iron is a high quality, super concentrated, European Chelated Iron. When used in conjunction with Amazon Elements plants receive an extra boost of Iron for lush red highlights. Amazon Iron also helps prevent yellow brittle leaves and short slender stems commonly seen in planted aquariums.
Contains no Nitrates or Phosphates !
Contains only safe chelated iron. Non-chelated (free)iron can be toxic at level as low as 0.3mg/L. Free iron can also be lost quickly to precipitation or “rusting” when in aquarium water.
Directions:
- Shake well before use
- Add 1 capful (approx 5ml) per 50 gallons of water one – two times per week or as needed to maintain an iron concentration of 0.15 mg/l.
- More or less Amazon Iron may be needed to maintain an iron level of 0.15mg/l depending or plant load in Aquarium.
Note: One capful will raise iron concentration in 50 gallons by 0.10mg/l.
