Tailored Aquatics Reef Calcium is extremely concentrated. Calcium levels in a reef tank should be between 420ppm – 450ppm. Tailored Aquatics Reef Calcium Plus has the ability to raise calcium levels fast. But use caution not to raise calcium more than 40 ppm per day. Reef Calcium plus provides bio-available calcium for lush growth of purple, pink and green calcareous algae, snails, and clams.

Reef Calcium Plus will not affect the pH or alkalinity of your aquarium and should be used in conjunction with Reef dKH Plus for alkalinity and ph maintenance. Phosphate and nitrate free! Reef Calcium Plus alone can provide all the calcium your reef will need, but for maximum results, use Reef Kalk/w Kalk booster first, then supplement calcium level with this product as needed.

Nitrate Destroyer’s Benefits are providing a great source of metabolic energy which indirectly and directly give corals a source of energy as while reducing nitrates at the same time. Contains no sugars, yeast or glucose! Please Note that due to its high concentration, if product has been stored in cold temperatures some precipitate may occur. This does not effect the performance of the product.

*Helps Reduce Nitrates It is the creators of Tailored Aquatic opinion that small amount of an organic carbon source added daily to a reef tank along with a well maintained protein skimmer will reduce Nitrates over long term. This product is designed to be used with Tailored Aquatic Reef dKH Plus to add small amounts of carbon daily just by maintaining Calcium and Dkh . A small amount of cloudiness may occur a few hours after use. This will dissipate quickly and is a natural part in the reduction of *Nitrate.

Directions:

• Shake well before using.
• To Raise Calcium: Add one capful (5ml) per twenty gallons daily to reach a calcium level of 420 ppm – 450 ppm. To maintain Calcium: Add one capful per 50 gallons every second day (alternating with Tailored Aquatic Reef dKH Plus).

Note: Test Calcium Frequently!, More or less Reef Calcium may be needed to maintain a calcium level of 420ppm – 450ppm depending on biological load in tank.

Tailored Aquatics Iodide K.I. contains only safe/non-toxic iodide with no toxic iodine. This makes Iodide K.I. an easy risk free way to maintain Iodide levels when used as directed.

Importance of Iodide:

Iodide is one of the most important trace elements and is often in short supply in a reef aquarium. Iodide dissipates quickly from a reef aquariums and unless added often will not be present in the system. Iodide is naturally present in ocean water at levels around 0.06 ppm/60 parts per billion. It is considered important for molting invertebrates and Both soft coral growth and hard coral health. Macro Algae also contains Iodide in their tissues. Iodide is removed quickly from skimming, activated carbon and assimilation by bio-load in aquariums..

Directions:

• Shake well before using.
• Add to a high flow area in aquarium.
• To maintain Iodide : Method 1(Preferred)- Add 1ml (approx 1/5 capful) per 50 gallons daily. Method 2- Add 5ml or 1capful weekly.

Note: Test Iodide Frequently!, More or less Reef Iodide may be needed to maintain a Iodide level of 0.03ppm – 0.06 ppm depending on biological load in Aquarium.

Note: test KH Frequently!, More or less Reef dKH PLUS may be needed to maintain a KH of 2.9 meq/l or 8 -12 dKH depending on biological load in tank.

Tailored Aquatics Magnesium is extremely concentrated. With a blend of magnesium, chloride, and sulfate salts designed to restore levels of magnesium with little impact to the ionic ratios found in natural sea water. Use caution not raise magnesium more than 50 ppm per day. Phosphate and nitrate free!

Raises and Maintains Magnesium to stabilize Calcium concentrations

Kalkwasser depletes magnesium much faster then calcium chloride: Add one capful per twenty gallons weekly directly to tank water to restore Magnesium levels when using lime water as your source of top up water.

Magnesium serves to prevent the excessive precipitation of calcium carbonate from seawater and aquarium water alike. Since both calcium and alkalinity are very important to Corals, clams, and other organisms that we maintain, making sure that they are not lost to excessive precipitation is an important part of reef husbandry Caution! Inexpensive Salt mixes are often low in Magnesium, Some as low as 800ppm !

Magnesium is present in natural seawater at 1280 ppm. If magnesium is well below natural levels, then its effect on calcium carbonate precipitation may be ineffective, allowing precipitation to take place more rapidly. Aquarists experiencing such precipitation should consider testing for magnesium, and supplementing if its level is not at least 1250 ppm. Recommended magnesium target is at 1250-1350 ppm in a reef tank.

• To Raise Magnesium levels : Add one capful (5ml) per 20 gallons daily to raise Magnesium levels till 1250ppm -1350ppm is achieved
• To maintain Magnesium levels: Add one capful per 40 gallons weekly. Use with Kalkwasser: Add one capful per twenty gallons weekly directly to tank water to restore Magnesium levels when using lime water as your source of top up water Note: test Magnesium Frequently!, More or less Reef Magnesium may be needed to maintain a level of 1250ppm to 1350ppm depending on bio load.
