Tailored Aquatics Reef Calcium is extremely concentrated. Calcium levels in a reef tank should be between 420ppm – 450ppm. Tailored Aquatics Reef Calcium Plus has the ability to raise calcium levels fast. But use caution not to raise calcium more than 40 ppm per day. IRON F.E. is a high quality, bio-available, super concentrated European Chelated Iron.In the nutrient poor reef system we over look the fact that some of the algae are benificial. Tailored Aquatics IRON F.E. gives a source of iron, without adding any nitrates or phosphates, to macro algae and symbiotic zooxanthellate algae that cover every square inch of most corals in are systems. Iron occurs in trace levels in sea water but is quickly used up in close systems, through my research and experience, corals with zooxanthellate aglae are healthier and less likely to experience rapid tissue necrosis (RTN) when supplemented with iron.
Importance of Iron
IRON F.E. encourages growth of symbiotic zooxanthellate algae in corals, also helps nourish coralline algae and speeds up photosynthesis rates of symbiotic and macro algae.
TIP: Nutrient reduction with iron. Systems using IRON F.E. will have increase growth of macro algae’s. Marco algae will utilizes the nitrate in the water as it grows. These systems will be able to harvest and export these aquatic algae sooner than in a system with no extra added iron.

Directions:
- Shake well before using
- Add one capful (approx 5ml) per 50 gallons of tank water weekly. OR Add 8-10 drops daily per 50 gallons of tanks water.
- Test Iron levels frequently! Iron levels should be maintained at no higher than 0.05ppm
